J. Wayne Phillips, MD

Dr. Phillips is a board certified allergist/immunologist who has been in private practice since 1979, providing quality care to adults and children.  Dr. Phillips graduated from Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida and the University of Notre Dame in 1968.  He received his medical degree in 1972 from the University of Miami Medical School. He served in the Air Force as Allergy Clinic Chief from 1973 to 1975 in Georgia.  He completed his medical residency and fellowship at the University of South Florida affiliated hospitals.  He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology.  Dr. Phillips attends the National Allergy Convention of the Academy of Allergy annually and keeps up to date on the latest treatments. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the Florida Allergy Society, and the American Association of Certified Allergists.

Dr. Phillips is an accomplished singer and musician who has recorded a CD, "RX for Song," which he donates all the proceeds of its sales to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation.  Dr. Phillips married his wife Bridget in 1969.  They have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. He coached youth sports for 17 years including baseball, softball, club and high school soccer and previously had a level C soccer coaching license.  His personal hobbies include creating family videos, photography, singing, playing guitar, sailing, skiing, and windsurfing. He also has become a medical expert on the Shroud of Turin and has given 100s of talks on the Shroud's authenticity from a scientist's perspective (see links).

Kerry Phillips Reller, MD, MS


Dr. Reller is board certified in Family and Community Medicine and Obesity Medicine.  She completed her Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology focusing in Bioengineering.  From there she moved to Baltimore, Maryland to work in systems engineering at a defense contractor.  During this time, she realized she was not utilizing her skills and passion to help others.  She resigned from her engineering job and completed premedical requirements and received a post-baccalaureate certificate from The Johns Hopkins University.  She continued to work for Johns Hopkins as she prepared for medical school, which she completed at the University of Maryland.  She continued on at the University of Maryland and completed her residency in Family and Community Medicine.  In 2016, she moved back to Florida to join her father in practice and to learn the clinical practices of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She started her own family practice in July 2017 in addition to seeing allergy patients.  In 2021, Dr. Reller passed board certification in Obesity Medicine in order to better help her patients reach their health goals.  Dr. Reller is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, and the Obesity Medicine Association. Dr. Reller and her husband have three children and reside in Safety Harbor.  The Rellers love exercising with Shaun T, soccer, running, and have enjoyed living closer to family. 

Christina Taylor, ARNP-C

Christina grew up in Palm Harbor, FL and is a graduate of the University of South Florida. She has a long standing nursing career in a variety of fields, including allergy and asthma, orthopedic surgery and acute inpatient care. Her husband shares in her passion for patient care as a critical care flight nurse for the United States Air Force. Together, with their 3 children they enjoy spending time at sporting events and participating in outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking and visiting local beaches and state parks.  

Melissa Autieri, ARNP-C

Melissa received her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of South Florida, graduating magna cum laude. She received her Masters degree from the University of South Florida, graduating from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program.  She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is able to see patients of all ages.  She has experience in Internal Medicine and has worked in Allergy and Asthma since 2002. In 2022, she completed a Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine through the Obesity Medicine Association. Melissa retired on 8/25/23.
