Telemedicine appointments are scheduled within the regular schedule.  

Great things for a telemedicien visit include: COVID, influenza-like symptoms, lab review, UTI (give urine sample at lab first), other acute needs. If needed, you will be directed to an in person visit. 

Copays and deductibles still apply as they are billed the same as an office visit. It is highly recommended that you check in online prior to the visit and pay any copays. The office staff may contact you prior to the visit to check in and pay your copay.

You will receive a text message when the provider is ready. You should click on the link in the text message and allow video and audio use. You need AUDIO and VIDEO for the visit. A good smart phone should be sufficient.

Please be in an area with good internet connection and in a quiet, private place.

At times the provider may run late depending upon the clinic schedule, but you should try to be on time and ready for the visit.

It is preferred that you have taken some vitals (blood pressure, temperature, weight, pulse rate, etc) PRIOR to the start of the visit.

Your visit summary will be in your Athena chart if you need to refer to visit details.
