Physical Environment

A large table allows for teachers to be able to work with more than one student at a time. Such as for reading groups. While it is not 1-on-1 it enables the teacher to work more individually. While also being able to assess the students they are working with. 

A calming corner has a number of benefits when it comes to  the students and teacher in a classroom. If a student is having a difficult time in class focusing, or even emotionally the teacher can send them to the calming corner to take some time for themselves. 

The circle time area can be utilized by a teacher in a multitude of different ways. Such as a morning meeting spot to discuss the day. An area to present a new topic to the entire class. As well as when reading a book to the whole class. It is a great way for students to socialize among their peers and with the teacher. 

The classroom library is an area in the classroom for students to go to in their free time, or if they are done early. There would be age/reading level appropriate books while also being in a comfortable environment.
