Hello! I have a BS in molecular biology from UCSC and a little over 3 years of lab experience (plant and yeast systems). I’m currently interning at the USDA supporting comparative genomics projects on foodborne pathogens. I am hoping to spend more time working in the lab and then apply to grad school. My pie-in-the-sky ideal grad project would apply computational and synthetic biology principles to sustainability-minded biomanufacturing.
