Patrick graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor’s in finance and began his transition into healthcare by joining the United States army as a medic in 2016 and eventually working in clinical labs as he earned is medical laboratory technician license. He is studying to transition into biotechnology research positions to build upon his skillset in clinical lab research and molecular biology. In 2023, as a student at CCSF's biotechnology program, Patrick completed a Bioscience internship at USDA studying biological control of invasive species. He then completed the CCSF CIRM Stem Cell Internship program in 2023-2024 academic year at Gladstone Institutes studying spinal cord injury repair.
