Charlie graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and will complete a biotechnology certificate from CCSF in 2021. Through the CCSF Biotechnology Program and internship in the Marcucio Lab they gained experience in technical skills including PCR, gel electrophoresis, mammalian cell culture, fluorescence microscopy, and use of ImageJ. In the fall, Charlie is excited to continue developing their skills by participating in the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine Bridges to Stem Cell Internship.
