Carina graduated from University of California Santa Cruz in 2019 with a degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. She interned at the Stroud Lab at UCSF Mission Bay and gained firsthand experience in culturing E. coli bacteria and purifying proteins with affinity chromatography. She is currently pursuing a career in biotech and is looking forward to applying her skills in either industry or academia.
