My name is Xin Guo. I am a student attending City College of San Francisco’s Bioscience Internship program. I am an intern at Robinson Lab of UCSF. My academic credentials include an in-progress certificate in biotechnology lab assistant program and an in-progress AS degree in the same. In addition, I got an AS degree in analytical chemistry and I have over 20 year lab work experience in China.
I gained new technical skills from my internship, such as mamallian cell culture, RNA isolation and cDNA synthesis.
My past experience include PCR, ELISA, Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite of software (Word, Excel).
My future plans are to continue to study to gain an AS degree in Biotechnology, meanwhile, I would like to find a job as a lab technician in this field.
