I recently graduated from SJSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science Biology and a minor in Chemistry. At my internship, I have learned how to score three behavioral tests to examine how well Long Evan rats have recovered from their various spinal cord injuries in order to try to determine and analyze blood biomarkers correlating to their various spinal cord injuries and recoveries. In addition to that, I have also learned how to extract RNA from rat spinal cords.
