Angela graduated from San Francisco State University in 2015 with a degree in Child and Adolescent Development. After years working as a preschool teacher, she discovered her interest in epigenetics and its role in human behavior/development. She is currently working as a senior patient coordinator at Weill Cornell Medicine in Radiology as she pursues graduate education in biomedicine. She interned at the Grabe Lab at UCSF to learn computational techniques to better understand biological systems.
