For this assignment, we had to complete a SIMpath that explained the different types of databases and their components. We also had to assess a database, describing the information found on it, the type of DBMS it is, and filtering and sorting features within the database.
I learned the different types of DBMS, such as hierarchical, network, relational, multidimensional, and object-oriented. I also learned how to identify each DBMS by looking at a database.
