What I Learned 

During the discussion assignment, I learned, through my own search as well as what my classmates found on their searches for different platforms, that there really is no privacy while using these platforms. We are being tracked on everything we do. I learned that TikTok specifically collects information in three different ways: information the user provides; information from other sources, such as using a third-party service to log into the platform, they would collect information from that service; and automatically collected information such as the user's IP address, geolocation, browsing and search history, and cookies.
