Information Hierarchy- The organization of content so users can understand where information is stored, how to access it again, and how they relate.
Root Folder- The primary container from which all other folders and files branch out. It is the starting point for organization within files. (Root directory - Wikipedia)
Working File vs Deliverable File (in concept)- A working file is used for editing and making changes, while a deliverable file is what you share, submit, or publish, the completed version of a file.
Saving vs Exporting- Saving commits any changes that were made so the program can read and edit them later, while exporting converts the work into a format that other programs or people can view and use.
Operating System- The operating system starts and shuts down devices, runs programs, manages memory, connects to the internet and networks, manages files and folders, monitors performance and security, and provides a graphic user interface (GUI). It can be customized, such as screen brightness and resolution, wallpapers, sound and notifications, app shortcuts, taskbars, and keyboard, mouse, and accessibility options.
Open Source Software- A computer software with publicly available source code, which means anyone can view, edit, use, and distribute at any time. (Open-source software - Wikipedia)
