File Extension- A suffix added to a file name, separated by a period, that tells the computer and user what type of file it is and what application should open it. It indicates its format, function, and data organization.
Zip File- A computer file where the contents of one or more files are compressed for storage or transmission. It typically carries the extension .ZIP.
Saas- A method of software delivery and licensing in which software is accessed online via a subscription, rather than bought and installed on individual computers.
Digital Bubble- An intellectual isolation created by personalized algorithms on the internet that selectively show you content based on your past behavior, hiding diverse or opposing viewpoints.
Generative AI- Creates new, original content like text, images, code, or music by learning patterns from vast datasets.
Prompt (as related to AI)- The specific input you give an AI model to instruct it, or ask it to generate a desired output. It's the context that guides the AI to produce relevant results.
What is the difference between the Internet and the WWW? The Internet is the global hardware network connecting computers. The WWW is a service on the internet, a collection of linked pages and resources accessed via browsers using protocols like HTTP.
Browser- A computer program with a graphical user interface for displaying and navigating between web pages.
URL- The address of a web page.
