Field (as related to DBs)- The smallest unit of data within a database table.
Record (as related to DBs)- A collection of data organized in a structured format within a database table.
Query- A request for information or an action from a database or search engine, like typing something into the search bar on Google.
DBMS- Stands for database management system. It is designed to manage, store, and retrieve data efficiently in a structured format.
Data- Raw, unprocessed facts and/or figures, often obtained using measurement instruments.
Information - Data that has been processed and structured, adding context and increased meaning.
Knowledge- The ability to use information tactically and strategically to achieve specified objectives.
Wisdom- The ability to select objectives that are consistent with and supportive of a general set of values, such as human values.
Provide an example from Data to Wisdom as described in Unit 6's notes. Data- 400; Information- 400 pages; Knowledge- 400 pages is a lot; Wisdom- I should break it up and read in increments.
