For this assignment, we had to research and present an emerging technology of our choosing.
I chose to research remote MRI scanning. I chose this topic because it relates to my major in radiography and the future of the career, and I'm interested in how it could further evolve and become even more helpful in patient care.
An interesting thing I learned through this project is that technologists can scan for multiple offices from a distance.
I learned about the maker of the system used by remote technologists, and how it is used. I learned how this practice can help with patient care in rural and underserved areas. I also learned how to record a presentation with audio on PowerPoint and export it for others to see.
