NMRA Layout Directory BETA

The NMRA is developing a Layout Directory to allow members to visit and communicate with other members who have layouts. 

We now have a beta version of the Directory available for NMRA members to "test drive" so that we can evaluate the Directory and make further improvements before it is offered to the general NMRA membership.

To get started, log-on to your NMRA account (or register if you have not already done so) at:

Click on the "Member Log-In/Registration" at the top right corner of the page.

After you have logged-in go to this link:

http://www.nmra.org/members/layout-directory

Paste this link into your web browser if necessary.

Once you are on the Layout Directory page click on the "Add Your Layout" button. This will take you to the "Create Layout" page. Note that there are four tabs (Layout Info, Contact, Location Info, Photos) for entering information about your layout.

After you have filled-in the information about your layout hit the 'Save" button at the bottom of the page.

There are a few layouts already listed in the Layout Directory for test purposes. Feel free to examine these listings to see how this beta version works for someone interested in visiting a layout or at least communicating with a layout owner. Note that there is a Text Search feature.

We are interested in comments and suggestions from layout owners (only, please) so that we can improve the Layout Directory before it is finalized.
