ACTIVATE – Verifying and Stimulating Prior Knowledge on Moodle
The ACTIVATE stage marks the beginning of the Business English at Your Fingertips program. Conducted on Moodle, this step is designed to activate and assess students’ existing knowledge before introducing new content. Through diagnostic activities and short interactive tasks, students revisit essential concepts, vocabulary, and structures, ensuring a solid foundation for the following stages (TRAIN and EXPERIENCE).
TRAIN - Building Skills Through Interactive Practice on Moodle
Step 2, called TRAIN and delivered through Moodle, is a cornerstone of the Business English at Your Fingertips program. It bridges the gap between initial diagnostics and the immersive virtual reality experience, ensuring students are well-prepared for real-world business communication scenarios.
Why This Step Matters
TRAIN is not just a preparatory stage—it is an interactive, collaborative, and adaptive learning environment that serves multiple purposes:
Knowledge Reinforcement: Students revisit and strengthen their prior knowledge through engaging activities.
Skill Development: Practical exercises simulate real business contexts, enhancing language application.
Progress Tracking: Teachers can monitor student performance, identify gaps, and provide targeted feedback.
Readiness for VR: TRAIN ensures learners acquire the foundational skills necessary for the upcoming immersive experience, including the four core linguistic skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking), as well as grammar, business vocabulary, and essential business concepts and protocols.
