BloomchemAG.processcorner
1. Purpose
This policy defines the eligibility, compensation structure, and reporting requirements applicable to employees approved to work from home (WFH).
2. Eligibility
Work From Home is not an automatic entitlement and shall be granted only upon prior approval from the Reporting Manager and HR.
WFH may be approved based on business requirements, operational feasibility, or exceptional circumstances.
Management reserves the right to approve, reject, or withdraw WFH privileges at its discretion.
3. Compensation Structure During WFH
Compensation for approved WFH days shall be calculated at 50% (half-day equivalent) of the regular daily salary.
WFH will be treated as a half-paid working day unless otherwise approved by Management in writing.
Attendance records will reflect WFH separately from regular office attendance.
4. Working Hours & Availability
Employees must remain available during standard working hours.
Phone, email, and official communication platforms must remain active and responsive.
Any unavailability during working hours without prior intimation may lead to deduction of pay.
5. Reporting & Accountability
Submission of a detailed End-of-Day (EOD) Work Report is mandatory for every WFH day.
The EOD report must clearly mention:
Tasks assigned
Tasks completed
Pending tasks (with reason)
Next day action plan
Failure to submit the EOD report may result in the WFH day being treated as Leave Without Pay (LWP).
6. Performance & Monitoring
Productivity, deliverables, and responsiveness will be monitored.
Repeated non-performance or non-compliance may lead to withdrawal of WFH approval.
7. General Conditions
Data confidentiality and IT security norms must be strictly followed.
Company reserves the right to modify this policy at any time based on business requirements.
This policy is effective from the date of circulation and forms part of the official employment terms.
