MEDITATION IS A FORM OF PERSONAL HYPNOTHERAPY!
While in a relaxed state, the subconscious mind is able to release blocks, remove limiting beliefs and negative behavior patterns, AND re-frame the past to help you move forward in new, positive ways.
Once these blocks and beliefs are removed, the subconscious mind willingly receives new information that will help you meet your goals and heal your life: body, mind & spirit.
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. Each time you enter into this natural healing state you increase your awareness and activate healing. The subconscious mind can heal easily in a relaxed state and sends a message to your conscious thinking mind to create new automatic behaviors.
Did you know that 90% of your thoughts, patterns, beliefs and behaviors come from deep within the subconscious mind? The other 10% is controlled by the conscious thinking mind. Imagine 90% of who you are changing. Your conscious and subconscious mind re-sync with new, healthy behaviors and beliefs.
Hypnosis is a natural state that works with the brain waves. Hypnosis takes place in the state of Theta.
When you are awake and alert, you are in an active beta state. As you daydream you move into Alpha. The next state is Theta, or hypnosis. Deep sleep is Delta.
We all go in and out of hypnosis twice a day: as we drift off to sleep and as we awaken each day.
That busts the belief that most people have when they say they can’t be hypnotized!

You cannot get stuck in the state of hypnosis, since it is a natural state.
If you were to experience an interruption during a session or self-visualization, you would just naturally move into the awake state of beta and begin using your conscious thinking mind. You could also just drift off to sleep and awaken naturally as usual.
You are moving in and out of trance all day long and are often unaware of it. Sounds, smells, textures and sights will trigger trance states as you move about your day.
Everything! I have found that you can use hypnotherapy for anything. The possibilities are endless.
Hypnotherapy is great for pain, healing chronic illness, patterns and behaviors, fears, phobias, anxiety, depression, addictions, limiting beliefs, activating intuitive gifts and more!
If you don’t like it, want to like it more, have no idea how to do it, wish you did it more, want to release it forever, wish it was an automatic behavior…..hypnosis can help with that! That is so exciting!
Hypnosis feels different for each person AND each session will be a different experience. Entering into the relaxed state of hypnosis often feels like a massage from the inside. Your body can feel like it is floating.
Some people feel tingling sensations and are warm all over. Other people will not feel their body at all. There can be times when the body feels very heavy and times when it feels weightless.
During hypnosis, the client has all the power. Your practitioner should be there as a guide and a support. You take the session where you want it to go. You are still experiencing hypnosis even if your mind wanders and you have distracting thoughts.
Remember when you are using hypnosis, you are working with the subconscious mind. It is the conscious mind that thinks and gets distracted. I have found in my sessions that the clients who get distracted easily are great candidates for hypnosis!
You won't fall asleep during your session. It takes about 45 minutes to reach Delta, which is the sleep state. You will feel relaxed but aware.
If you do feel like you fell asleep, you went very deep into hypnosis. The subconscious mind will distract the conscious mind allowing you to break free of blocks.
That is such a great question and one Natalie is asked often. The sole purpose of the subconscious mind is to keep you safe. It will never take you to an experience or event you are not ready to see and heal.
Another amazing fact about hypnotherapy is that you, the client, are always in control. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The client has complete control at all times. Natalie is there to guide you and help you process what you experience.
Self-hypnosis is when you allow your conscious mind to enter into a relaxed state for the purpose of accessing the subconscious mind. There are several forms of self-hypnosis.
Most people are entering into trance several times throughout the day.
If you have ever used visualization, meditation, prayer or active meditation, you have done a form of self-hypnosis.
Even music, art and dancing can help you reach this natural state.
The subconscious mind is our gift from the Creator! This mind is the best kept secret in the world and I believe that if we taught kids to use their subconscious minds by the age of 8, we could completely heal the world in 10 years. YES, it’s that powerful.
The conscious mind, or brain, controls only 10% of our thoughts, actions and behaviors. This is the mind we use to think and make rational decisions. The subconscious mind takes care of everything else.
The sole purpose of the subconscious mind it to keep you safe. It has the cognitive level of a child between the ages of 4 and 8. IMAGINE letting a small child protect you and keep you safe!
The subconscious mind gives you access to anything. In hypnosis, you can access memories, beliefs, and knowledge. You can find core patterns for behaviors and break free! Most people have deep beliefs and patterns ingrained within their subconscious from childhood.
Healing at the subconscious level will not only heal your mind, it will heal your body and your soul. Life goes from feeling like a burden to being easy, breezy...blissful.
