EASTER

   Easter is a very important festival in the Christian religion and many Christians go to church at this time. Easter also celebrates the arrival of spring and we see lots of things that make us think of new life, for example, eggs, chicks, flowers and rabbits. 

   Eggs are a big part of Easter celebrations! Many people paint chicken eggs and decorate them with bright colours and children receive chocolate eggs as presents. In the UK, children have fun taking part in Easter egg hunts. They look for chocolate eggs in parks and gardens and in some places there are even egg-rolling competitions. People boil eggs to make them hard and then they paint them. You have to roll the egg down a hill and not break it!

   At I.E.S. El Tablero we celebrated Easter with a competition for our students of 1st E.S.O. B. There were different tasks they had to accomplish in pairs. Those tasks included an egg hunt, a wordsearch and even egg rolling!

   All of them got a chocolate egg at the end of the competition and the winners got a basket with chocolate eggs and chicks.

   The winners were Indhira Romero and Paula Romero.

    La Pascua es una festividad muy importante en la religión cristiana y muchos cristianos van a la iglesia en esta época. La Pascua también conmemora la llegada de la primavera y vemos muchas cosas que nos hacen pensar en una vida nueva, por ejemplo, los huevos, los pollitos, las flores y los conejos.

     Los huevos son una parte importante de la celebración de la Pascua. Mucha gente pinta huevos y los decora con colores brillantes y los niños reciben huevos de chocolate como regalos. En el Reino Unido los niños se divierten en la búsqueda de huevos. Los buscan en los parques o los jardines y en algunos lugares se llevan a cabo competiciones en la que ruedan huevos. La gente cuece huevos y los pintan. ¡Hay que hacer rodar los huevos por una colina e intentar no romperlos!   

En el I.E.S. El Tablero celebramos la pascua con una competición para nuestro alumnado de 1º de ESO B. Había distintas pruebas que tenían que resolver en parejas. Entre las pruebas había una búsqueda de huevos, una sopa de letras y ¡hasta rodaron huevos!

   Todo el alumnado recibió un huevo de chocolate al final de la competición y las ganadoras consiguieron una cesta con huevos y pollitos de chocolate.
