EASTER

   While to Christians, Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Christ, many Easter traditions are not found in the Bible. The most prominent secular symbol of the Christian holiday, the Easter bunny, had his origins in German. The decoration of eggs is believed to date back to at least the 13th century, while the rite of the Easter parade has even older roots. Other traditions, such as the consumption of Easter candy, are among the modern additions to the celebration of this early springtime holiday.

   At I.E.S. El Tablero we celebrated Easter with a competition for our students of 3rd E.S.O. There were different tasks they had to accomplish in groups of two or three people. Those tasks included an egg hunt, a wordsearch and a kahoot among others.

   All of them got a chocolate chick or bunny at the end of the competition and the winners got a basket with chocolate eggs, chicks and bunnies.

   The winners in 3rd ESO A were Judith Granados and Ana Belén Muñoz. The winners in 3rd ESO B were Carmen Aragón, Sofía Carbonell and Sergio Monge.

   Aunque para los cristianos la Pascua es la celebración de la resurrección de Cristo, muchas de las tradiciones de Pascua no se encuentran en la biblia. El símbolo profano más conocido de esta celebración, el conejito de Pascua, tiene su origen en Alemania. Se cree que el origen de la celebración de los huevos decorados data del siglo XIII y los desfiles de Pascua aún son más antiguos. Otras tradiciones, tales como el consumo de determinados dulces o figuras de chocolate están entre las incorporaciones más modernas de la celebración de esta fiesta de primavera.

   En el I.E.S. El Tablero celebramos la pascua con una competición para nuestro alumnado de 3º de ESO. Había distintas pruebas que tenían que resolver en grupos de dos o tres personas. Entre las pruebas había una búsqueda de huevos, una sopa de letras y un Kahoot.

   Todo el alumnado recibió un pollito o conejito de chocolate al final de la competición y los ganadores de cada grupo consiguieron una cesta con huevos, pollitos y conejitos de chocolate.

   Los ganadoras en 3ºESO A fueron Judith Granados y Ana Belén Muñoz. Los ganadores en 3º ESO B fueron Carmen Aragón, Sofía Carbonell y Sergio Monge.
