Rookery Activity Center
A road and trail ride.

This route goes north of Shoreview to the Rookery Activity Center (formerly Lino Lakes YMCA). The first part of the route follows roads to the Rice Creek Elementary School in Lino Lakes. From the school, the route follows a trail passing over a wetland bridge and through forest areas before arriving at the Rookery Activity Center. This is an out-and-back ride. The route is mostly flat, and the road portions of the route have good shoulders.
Directions:
From the Shoreview CC go north on Victoria Ave to Tanglewood Dr.
Turn Tanglewood Dr east to Hodgson Rd Connect.
Turn north on Hodgson Rd Connect and go to Hodgson Rd.
Go north on Hodgson Rd to Turtle Lake Rd.
Turn east on Turtle Lake Rd and then north on Donegal Dr.
Take Donegal Dr to Sherwood Dr and turn east.
Take Sherwood Dr to Evergreen Ln and turn north.
Go to Bucher Ave and turn west then north on Stephen Cir.
Take a short trail that connects to Mackubin Ave.
Take Mackubin Ave to Ash St.
Cross Ash St and go north on Ware Rd.
Take Ware Rd to Birch St and turn east.
Turn north on a trail east of Rice Lake Elementary school and go north.
After passing Aqua Ln, the trail goes east and then north.
Follow the trail to the Rookery Activity Center.
Return to the Shoreview CC along the same route.
