The Origins of Racing Bulls

Racing Bulls was founded in 2006 as a sister team to Red Bull Racing, created after Red Bull acquired the Minardi team. The goal was to provide a platform for young, emerging drivers to showcase their talent and eventually make their way to Red Bull Racing. The name "Racing Bulls" was chosen to maintain the connection with the Red Bull brand.

In its early years, Racing Bulls focused more on developing young talent than on immediate championship aspirations. The first major success came in 2008, when Sebastian Vettel won the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, giving the team its first and only victory. This triumph also marked the team as a credible force for future seasons.
