Week Eleven Composite top 25

Another weekend is wrapped up and we're another weekend closer to Omaha. Get the rundown on the new Top 25!

Eight for Omaha

After a 4-0 week, #1 UCLA still sits atop the rankings as the unanimous number one team in the country. The Bruins outscored Cal State Fullerton and Utah 25-8 and have won 13 of their last 14 games. Just behind UCLA, #2 Stanford took care of business against Arizona last weekend. The Cardinal's only series loss this season is to the Bruins. After sweeping Auburn, #3 Vanderbilt is up two spots in the rankings, and the Commodores have built a two-game lead in the SEC East. Slipping a spot to #4, Oregon State continues to struggle in midweek games where they have lost five of their last six. Meanwhile, the Beavers are dominating in weekend series and earned a sweep over Washington State this past weekend. Rounding out the top five, #5 Arkansas earns their highest ranking of the year after sweeping Tennessee.

Following the top five, #6 Louisville moves up a spot and is the ACC's highest ranked team. Up two spots, #7 Mississippi State bounced back from their series loss two weekends ago to Arkansas and swept Georgia this past weekend. Checking in at #8, ECU all but wrapped up the American Conference regular season title as they took two out of three from Tulane. Like Stanford, their only series loss this season is to #1 UCLA.

Hopeful Hosts

#9 Georgia and #10 Georgia Tech come next in the rankings as the rivals are currently moving in opposite directions. Georgia fell five spots after getting swept by Mississippi State, while Georgia Tech is up four spots after beating Georgia in the midweek and taking two out of three from Clemson over the weekend. #11 Texas Tech is this week's biggest mover, climbing six spots. They silenced the bats of Oklahoma State en route to a sweep. At #12, LSU is up one spot from last week, and at #13, UCSB is down five spots. The Gauchos lost their first series of the year, falling to UC Riverside, but are still the highest ranked mid-major.

The Tar Heels move up two positions as #14 North Carolina continues to build an impressive host resume. At 15-9 in the ACC, they sit atop the ACC Coastal standings, tied with Georgia Tech. #15 Ole Miss swept #16 Texas A&M over the weekend in what could prove to be a pivotal series in regards to determining host sites. The Rebels rose three spots while the Aggies fell six.

Gunning for a Regional

The next tier of teams is full of squads that still have time to move up into host position or fall all the way out of the tournament. #17 Baylor is a team headed in the right direction after a road sweep of rival, TCU. The next three spots are taken by #18 Arizona State, #19 West Virginia, and #20 North Carolina State. The Sun Devils and Wolfpack are both coming off series losses, while the Mountaineers took care of business against Texas, winning two out of three. #21 UC Irvine, #22 Indiana, #23 Miami, #24 Tennessee, and #25 Michigan round out the top 25. This marks the first time this season that the Big Ten has had two teams in the top 25.

Just outside the rankings and receiving votes are Florida State, Missouri, Oklahoma State, and BYU. For more on Week Eleven rankings, check out the Conference Power Rankings. And be sure to follow us on Twitter!
