Moverbase - Adding Jobs

Creating a job in Moverbase involves setting up a moving job for your customer, detailing all necessary information about the move, and assigning your team to it. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process: 

Steps to Create a Job in Moverbase:

1. Log In to Your Moverbase Account:

   • Access your account by logging in through Moverbase.

2. Navigate to the ‘Jobs’ Tab:

   • Once logged in, look for the ‘Jobs’ tab on the dashboard. This is where all active and past jobs are listed.

   • Click ‘+ New Job’ to start creating a new moving job.

3. Enter Job Details:

   • Customer Information: Fill in the customer’s name, phone number, and email. If they’re an existing customer, you can search for them by name.

   • Move Date & Time: Select the scheduled date and time of the move.

   • Move Type: Specify the type of move (e.g., residential, office, local, long-distance).

   • Origin & Destination Addresses: Enter the pickup and drop-off locations for the move.

   • Job Description: Provide details about the job, including special instructions, number of rooms, or any heavy/fragile items.

4. Assign Movers and Equipment:

   • Select the team members or crew who will be handling the move.

   • Choose the vehicle and any specific equipment (e.g., dollies, blankets, etc.) needed for the job.

5. Job Estimate & Pricing:

   • Input the estimated cost for the move based on your pricing model (hourly rate, flat rate, etc.).

   • Include details for additional services, such as packing/unpacking or storage, if applicable.

6. Confirm Job Details:

   • Review all entered information, ensuring the move date, time, location, and customer details are correct.

   • Save the job once you’re satisfied with the details.

7. Send Confirmation to the Customer (Optional):

   • Moverbase allows you to email a job confirmation to your customer, including the job details and pricing estimate.

8. Manage the Job:

   • Once the job is created, you can track its progress under the ‘Jobs’ tab.

   • Assign additional crew members or make updates as needed.

Once you’ve created the job, it will appear on your Moverbase dashboard, where you can monitor its status, communicate with your team, and make any necessary changes.
