Asylum Overhaul

The Asylum Overhaul includes custom utility settings designed to improve performance, accessibility, immersion, and player comfort. These settings can be changed at any time and apply immediately when saved.

• The Utility & Settings Menu provides optional performance, accessibility, and quality-of-life toggles. Changes apply immediately when saved and do not alter core gameplay balance.

• To acess this fuction press ESC during gameplay 

Atmospheric Settings

• If this is not showing and you need to remove the fog please ask for the fog removal file, the fog is a part of the overall horror theme

• Hide Atmospheric Blocks (Fog, Dust, Leaves)
  Disables atmospheric visual effects to improve FPS and visibility. Recommended for performance issues, visual clarity, or lower-end systems.

NPC & Trader Settings

• Mute NPC Footsteps
  Removes NPC footstep audio to reduce sound clutter.

• Mute Trader Rekt
  Disables Trader Rekt’s voice lines.

• Mute All Traders
  Disables voice lines for all traders. Useful for quieter gameplay or content creation.

Personal Settings

• Disable Flickering Lights
  Turns off flickering light effects. Recommended for photosensitivity, migraines, or reduced visual strain.

• Auto Redeem Challenges
  Automatically redeems completed challenges to reduce menu management.

• Disable Weapon Sway
  Removes weapon sway while aiming. Improves comfort and precision.

• Run GFX st budget 0 on game load
  Applies a graphics memory budget fix on startup. Useful for texture or VRAM issues.

• Run GFX pp enable 0 on game load
  Disables post-processing on startup. Improves FPS and visual clarity.
