COMPANIONS – ANIMAL TAMING FEATURE

OVERVIEW
The Companions feature allows survivors to tame animals and use them as combat allies in 7 Days to Die.
Tamed companions will:
Follow their owner
Attack enemies
Level up
Evolve into stronger forms
They provide powerful support — but they can still go down if not managed properly.
HOW TO TAME ANIMALS
Taming is done through a knockout system.
Steps:
Craft tranquilizer arrows
Craft taming food
Find an animal in the wild
Shoot it with tranq arrows
Watch the sedation (K.O) meter
When the meter fills:
The animal collapses
Act quickly:
Feed it using taming food to reach 100%
If taming is not completed:
The animal wakes up
It becomes aggressive
It will attack
