RAM MOD (AFFIX SYSTEM) – FULL GUIDE
Created by Firevos
The RAM Mod introduces a deep loot and upgrade system that transforms weapons and armor into fully customisable endgame gear. Instead of basic stats, items can roll powerful affixes, be upgraded through kills, and reshaped using multiple systems.
AFFIX SYSTEM (CORE BASICS)
Affixes appear on looted weapons and armor
Number of affixes = mod slots + Magic Find bonuses
View affixes in the Modify menu
Rarity tiers: Common → Mythic
Higher quality items allow higher rarity affixes
MAGIC FIND PERK
Increases chance of higher rarity affixes
Increases amount of weapons and armor found
Key perk for improving loot quality
AFFIX UPGRADING (KILL SYSTEM)
Affixes upgrade after 100 kills
Each upgrade requires +100 kills more than the last
Upgrade tokens can bypass kill requirements
Tokens can be looted, crafted, bought, or earned
MAGIC SLAYER PERK
Reduces kills needed per upgrade (−5 per level)
Increases max affixes allowed per item
Strong late-game scaling perk
REROLL SYSTEM
Uses reroll tokens (loot/craft/buy/earn)
Access via Modify → select affix → Reroll
Guarantees a different affix
Rarity can increase or decrease by 1 tier
EXTRACTION SYSTEM
Uses rare extraction tokens
Removes an affix and stores it for reuse
Can be applied to compatible gear
Once extracted:
Cannot be rerolled or upgraded
Requires another token to remove again
High cost = high value system
AFFIX UNLOCK SYSTEM
Unlock additional affix slots on items
Requires unlock tokens + item parts (for higher-tier gear)
Unlock button appears in Modify menu
Makes item parts valuable again
ARMOR AFFIXES
30+ affixes exclusive to armor
Some weapon affixes also apply to armor
ARMOR SET BONUSES (REWORKED)

HOW IT ALL COMES TOGETHER

Perfect gear is not found — it is forged through grind, luck, and just a tiny bit of obsession.
