Personal Custom Settings

Want the full creepy atmosphere or prefer a little less chaos? Asylum includes personal settings so you can adjust the experience to your liking.

Press ESC in-game to access the Asylum Settings panel. Click the checkboxes to turn individual effects on or off. A tick means the setting is enabled.

Fog Blocks

• Toggles the visibility of Asylum fog blocks in the world.

• Enable this for the extra fog atmosphere, or disable it if you prefer clearer visibility.

Night Brightness Mod

• Toggles Asylum’s custom night brightness adjustment.

• Choose whether you want this custom adjustment active during nighttime.

Spook Mode

• Toggles SCore’s perpetual blood moon atmosphere effects.

• Enable it for that ongoing sense that something terrible is about to happen, or disable it if you prefer less spooky surroundings.

This setting controls atmosphere effects; it does not mean a blood moon horde happens every night.

Wind Sway

• Toggles Atmospheric Weather camera lean and sway during high winds.

• Turn it off if you prefer a steadier camera.
