The Geography department is established in the year 1989. The department is one of the leading geography departments under the Jurisdiction of the University of Mumbai. The faculty of the department is actively engaged in research activities. Till today the faculty of the department has published research papers at various levels. Also completed four minor research projects funded by the UGC and University of Mumbai. Presently three books are at the credit of the department. In addition, various conferences, seminars and Workshops are organized by the department.
