The Geography department is established in the year 1989. Presently, the college offers Three Year Integrated Bachelor of Arts program with Geography and Hindi or Geography and English subjects along with the other options. The geography department also runs various Certificate Courses related to Geo-Spatial Technology in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) through an e-learning portal. These courses are conducted through video conferencing. On average, every year around 15 students complete the course on 'Basics of Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System (GIS) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)'.
