Geography is considered a mother of all sciences. Since the development of modern humans, human beings started the observation of the phenomena of the surroundings, and it is the origin of the discipline of Geography. Generally, geography concerns the spatio-temporal analysis of the physical, social, cultural, religious, political, etc. phenomena and mainly concerns changes in spatial attributes from a temporal perspective. The nature of geography has been shifted from descriptive to decision making. Nowadays the technology like Remote Sensing (RS), Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are widely used for the study of the discipline. Hence the programs like B. A. in Geography, M. A. in Geography, and B. Voc. in Geoinformatics for Village Resource Mapping are tailored to meet the students’ specific educational and professional goals in mind.
