The Athalye, Sapre and Pitre College, Devrukh has conferred an Autonomous Status by the UGC in April, 2019. As per the UGC regulation 2018, the college has formed Board of Studies in various subjects and Geography is one of them. The college offers Three Year Integrated Bachelor of Arts programme with Geography and Hindi or Geography and English subjects along with the other options. From the academic year 2019-20, the college has started PG in Geography. The PG program is approved by the Government of Maharashtra and University of Mumbai. The geography department also runs various Certificate Courses related to Geo-Spatial Technology in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) through e-learning portal.

With consideration of the existing programmes in Geography and Perspective Plan of the department the college has framed a BoS in Geography. The present Composition of the BoS is as given below.
