Admissions open for the First Year of MA in Geography
At present, the Department of Geography offers Three Years Bachelor of Arts programme in combination with Hindi and English. Moreover, the students have choice to opt other subjects in combination with Geography. This system provides an opportunity to students to complete their PG in any of the combination at the Graduation Level or in both the combinations.
The Department of Geography is three-unit department. During the course of the three years and six semesters, the department offers nine courses for the Bachelor of Arts programme in Geography in combination with other subjects.

Ratnagiri is a Autonomous College under the jurisdiction of the University of Mumbai. Being the one of the leading academic departments of the college, the department is trying to focus on the syllabus which promotes skill development. 2019-20 is the first academic year under autonomous status. Hence the syllabus of the FYBA is revised by the BoS of the Department. For the second and third year the existing syllabus of the University of Mumbai is being used.
