2. Find a portrait that has a front view of you. This will be a bit easier to draw because the angle is symmetrical. Feel free to challenge yourself with a different view point of a portrait.
1. With the portrait you would like to draw, find the mid point between your eyes, nose, mouth.
2. Cut down the middle using scissors or an Exacto blade. (again, save the other half for the next portrait drawing).
3. Start to draw the other half of your face.
A. You may trace the half you will draw.
B. Trace the outline and where you know there will be value and texture.
C. Using a window or glass with a light behind it works.
***But I am looking for value and texture within the drawing.***
D. You may create a grid but draw the grid lightly.
See Walker website as above to review
