A Note from the Team

When we think about child behavior, there are many factors to consider and they can be quite broad. Thinking about behavior means thinking about how a child acts and responds to their environment. As children grow  and changes are occur, their behaviors will also be influenced by those changes. For professionals to understand these behaviors, they need to observe and gather information from all the settings in which the child is involved.  In conclusion, understanding and responding to behavior requires an awareness of many factors, including our expectations, thoughts, unconscious and implicit biases.
