Honor Hunting is a recurring event that rotates between two bosses: Cerberus and Cyclops. Each round lasts 7 days.
The developer sometimes tweaks the event. Information here may not be up to date.
Starting with Round 19, the boss will only be defeated when the entire round has ended.
At the end of each round, the top 20,000 players are rewarded with medals, coins, and vouchers based on their damage rank.
To collect extra rewards, tap the "Log" icon and then the "Claim" button.
Rewards may change from time to time. For the moment, the following are recommended (in order of preference):
Frost Archers
Meteor Golem
Diana or Brawlers
Yes, you can save unused medals for later uses.
Use high-level, 9-load troops whenever possible.
Honor Hunting formation is very competitive, and many clans have their own secrets. Consider joining a clan and asking clan members to help you.
The best way to know this is to look at the leader board. You can see what heroes top players use.
From experience, Diana is the best hero for Cerberus, and Davison and Drake are two best heroes for Cyclops.
Support Troops
In honor hunting, it is very important to keep your hero and troops alive as long as possible. To do this, use a good mixture of high-level Pilgrims, Brawlers and Paladin.
Melee Troops
9-load melee troops are preferred over single-load troops. Frequently recommended troops are: Inquisitor, Ghost Assassins, Undead Soldier, Cactus, and Bandits. Some players also use Harbinger of Fire.
Range Troops
Ranged troops such as Archers and Peltasts work well against Cyclops.
You should pretend the evade button does not exist.
This example formation is built with some assumption on what troops most players may have. It should provide decent result against both Cerberus and Cyclops.
This example formation is similar to what many top players use when fighting against Cerberus.
