Abstract. The Neotropical region is currently considered one of the richest regions in biodiversity on the planet. For the Checklist of Neotropical Spiders was used a methodology in which all countries and regions from New World, and dependent and independent territories of the Caribbean were included, including those as Chile, Argentina and Mexico that are placed on limits with Neartic realm (Mexico) and Andean realm (Chile/Argentina). Because of that, those contries have a part of their territories included on Neotropical region: northern region of Chile and central-northern region of Argentina are currently considered as a part of some provinces of the South American transition zone (sensu Morrone et al. (2022), Neotropical Region. In the same way, some North American species distributed on the limits USA/Mexico have part of their distributions on some provinces of the Mexican transition zone and Mesoamerican dominion.
Here, a list with the species excluded on that analysis, because their distributions was confirmed to be no Neotropical, is presented.
