1. How did you go about naming events, situations, needs, and facts about yourself? Were there challenges in doing this? If so, what are these challenges?
I reflected on my past experiences, interests, and the things that motivate me. I thought about what I enjoy doing, what I’m good at, and how my surroundings shaped my goals. The challenge was being honest with myself and choosing which traits or experiences truly describe who I am because sometimes it’s hard to see your own strengths clearly. Still, through reflection, I was able to find my own strengths even within my weaknesses, which helped me understand myself better.
2. Looking at these many facets in your life, which among them do you think are major considerations when deciding on future career options? Why would you consider these as a source of great impact?
The major considerations for me are my abilities, interests, and family. My skills and interests match well with Civil Technology, and my family’s support gives me motivation to continue. These factors have a big impact because they influence both my confidence and direction in choosing a career that fits my strengths and values.
3. Which are the areas that will really work to your advantage in relation to the career options that you are considering? How will these impact your choices?
My creativity, technical skills, and patience will work to my advantage. These traits are important in Civil Technology because the field requires accuracy, design thinking, and problem-solving. These strengths help me stay focused and motivated to improve in this profession.
4. What are your realizations after this exercise?
I realized that many parts of my life are connected to my career path. My family, personality, and even my childhood dreams have helped shape my goals. This activity reminded me that choosing a career is not just about earning money but also about finding purpose and fulfillment in what I do.
