Activity 1: My Banner- The Treasure Within Me
Activity 1: My Banner- The Treasure Within Me
1.) What do you consider as your weaknesses, abilities, and talents?
MY weaknesses are solving difficult math problems, procrastinating, overthinking over trivial things, and I often feel overwhelmed and pressured when school tasks pile up. However I make these up with my ability in leadership, creativity, and problem-solving. I'm also proud of my talents in singing, dancing, and drawing, which help me express myself and build confidence.
2.) What are the remedies you will take to improve or compensate for your weakness?
To improve and manage my weaknesses, I will take small but consistent steps. For my struggles in math, I will seek help from teachers, classmates, or online resources and practice regularly to build my solving skills. To overcome procrastination, I’ll create a schedule or to-do list to manage my time better and avoid last-minute cramming. When I feel overwhelmed, I’ll try to stay calm by taking short breaks, breathing deeply, and handling tasks one at a time. For overthinking, I’ll remind myself to focus on facts, not fears, and to trust the effort I’ve already put in.
3.) How can you further enrich your assets and strengths?
I can further enrich my assets and strengths by continuously learning and challenging myself. To develop my leadership skills, I’ll stay involved in school activities, take on responsibilities, and learn from people I look up to. I’ll also keep improving my creativity by exploring new techniques in art, trying new styles in singing and dancing, and practicing regularly. Most importantly, I’ll be open for feedback, reflect on my progress, and keep pushing myself to be better while staying true to who I am.
4.) Where and how do you use it to your best advantage?
I use my strengths to pursue a path where I can grow, inspire others, and make a difference. My leadership skills will help me take on bigger responsibilities, whether in school, career and in church. I want to use my creativity—through art, writing, or performance—to express meaningful ideas and connect with people.
