A prequel to the main series. It follows Yuta Okkotsu, a timid high school student who is possessed by the powerful curse of his childhood friend, Rika, who died in a tragic accident. Yuta enrolls at the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical School, where he meets other jujutsu sorcerers, including Satoru Gojo and Maki Zenin. As Yuta learns to control Rika’s curse and harness his own powers, he faces challenges from other curses and sorcerers. The film explores themes of grief, friendship, and the struggle to overcome one's fears, while showcasing intense action sequences and character development. It culminates in a climactic battle that sets the stage for the events of the main series.
