One of the oldest buildings in the city, the large columned hall was built by the original champions that defeated Varasha and founded the city. Over the ages the hall eventually fell out of use and into disrepair, but when the Heartseekers were formed the Elder Council bequeathed the building to them. The new guild transformed the hall into the centre of their operations and decorated it with their achievements.
Today the hall is a wide open space split into quarters, a training yard, a waiting and resting area, a lecture theatre and a laboratory. The fact that all of these areas have almost no barriers between them creates something of a loud and chaotic environment, it’s not uncommon for training sessions to spill over to the resting area or some experiment from the lab running lose in the lecture theatre. At the centre of the hall sits the reception, which manages and distributes information on dungeon sightings and other odd jobs on offer around the city.
Notably across all the walls are small grooves filled with little red gems. These gems are fragments of Dungeon Hearts which have been repurposed to attune to a Seekers lifeforce. Once a Seeker adds their blood to one of these gems, a rite of passage for new members, the gem will glow a faint red so long as they are alive.
Built by the original six champions that defeated Varasha and founded Anatos, the First Tower is a mysterious building that has no entrances. Legend has it the tower contains relics and artifacts of the old world, and serves as the entrance to the chamber sealing the god of destruction. In times of great crises the tower has allowed individuals to enter it, returning with some great item of power to bring peace back to the city. Unfortunately the tower has also been the target of greedy and even malicious forces, who in rare cases have been able to break in and steal something of great value. In response a group of volunteer warriors and mages calling themselves the Guardians was formed and have devoted themselves to the Towers protection and the return of it’s lost relics.
Crisscrossing the Central District are a number of bridges which help connect to each part of the city, because of the high amount of traffic on these bridges food markets and restaurants started to form on and around them. The Bridge Food Markets are one of the main trade areas for food in the city, either to take home or to eat in a fancy setting. Come midday the smell of cooking fills the canals with all manner of aromas attracting people across the city to partake in the latest harvests.
The temple of Kel’Ragna is in fact a dark purple tent that moves around the city, decorated with stars on it’s inside that some say shift and change if you look at them long enough. Inside sits a simple wooden altar which carries the figures of Kel’Ragna holding up a mirror between themselves. The Priests care for the temple and move it around are shrouded in mystery as they hide their faces behind dark veils and speak in only hushed tones. The temple's members follow their deities' lead in trying not to influence others' decisions uninvited, only offering help and advice when it’s sought out.
No one knows where the temple ‘is’ and yet anyone that has ever looked for it has found it.
