Anatos has numerous bustling Markets where almost every known item and tool is for sale. You can buy anything from the Player's Handbook and the items included on this page.
^ Symbol for Hombrew items, descriptions included under the table.Keras Armor. Forged directly in the Novan Crafters lava forges these pieces of metal armor are hardened to perfection and are able to deflect even lethal blows. While wearing this any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit.
Korad Armor. Forged using secrets of the old world, this black metal armor is imbued with strange golden runes. Can only be applied to Medium or Heavy armor. As an action you can activate the armors runes grantings you +2 AC, however if you move from your position for any reason you lose this extra AC.
Novan Hammer. A weapon built for the members of the Crafters Guild, can be a Light Hammer or Warhammer. This weapon counts as magical and as an action the wielder can choose to cast Mending on any object they strike with the hammer.
Anointed Weapon. Crafted by the Smiths of the Novan and blessed with the divine heat of the Forge. This weapon counts as magical and gains a +1 to attack and damage rolls.
Mastercrafted Weapon. Sharpened and refined in the Novan Crafters great furnace, this weapon's true ability only shines in the right hands. When you roll a 20 with this magic weapon, the target takes an extra 7 damage of the weapon's type.
Kilat Forged. Built using secrets of the old world this jet black weapon crackles with a strange and dangerous energy. When you hit with an attack using this magic weapon, the target takes an extra 1d6 lightning damage. In addition if you succeed a saving throw versus any source of lightning damage you can, as a reaction, redirect half the damage to another creature within 30ft of you.
Whitewood Wand. Made from a rare whitewood tree these masterfully crafted wands are able to conduct magic easily, making them an ideal arcane focus. Each wand is custom made with etched designs to suit its owner. Whilst holding the wand it functions as an Arcane Focus and grants +1 on any spell attack roll. In addition, you ignore half cover when making a spell attack.
Master Instrument. While holding this instrument, you gain a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your bard spells. As an action, you can play the instrument to regain one use of your Bardic Inspiration feature. This property of the drum can't be used again until the next dawn.
Bone Charm. Imbued with a spirit of nature this charm has been carefully carved with small sigils. Whilst wearing the charm you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your druid and ranger spells, and grants a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your spells. While you wear this charm you have advantage on animal handling checks with friendly beasts.
Healers Kit. This kit is a leather pouch containing bandages, salves, and splints. If you are proficient with the medicine skill you can attempt a 1 minute treatment to remove one Minor Injury Penalty from a character (DC 14), if you fail you cannot retry. During a short rest you can treat characters minor cuts and bruises, restoring 1 Hit Point to all characters with 0 Hit Points.
War Paint. Applied onto the skin like a tattoo, when entering combat the paint starts burning and smoking giving you an intimidating visage during battle. After scoring a critical hit you may immediately make an intimidation check with advantage to cause hostile creatures to flee from your terrifying appearance. The War Paint can be applied during a Short Rest.
White Whistle. A smooth white stone whistle with feather designs covering it’s sides. Blowing into the whistle seemingly causes no noise. As an action you can designate one creature that you can see, then for the next hour when you blow the whistle the wind carries the whistles noise to your target, who is the only one who can hear it. Once the duration ends the whistle needs time to gather wind back into itself, which completes once you finish a long rest.
Evergrowing Seed. A small brown seed inscribed with runes that can fit into your palm. As an action you can plant the seed in soft ground, then after an hour it grows into a fully formed tree. The tree lasts for up to an hour and then withers and dies, dropping a fruit containing the seed, alternatively you can give it a command word to cause this to happen immediately. Once the seed has grown into a tree it can’t be planted again until you finish a long rest.
Mirror of Second Reflection. A silver mirror decorated with a man and a woman around the rim, it reflects back yourself as the opposite gender. As an action you can say a command word towards the mirror, causing your sex to change. Once you use this ability you must finish a long rest before you can invoke the magic again.
Vigil Lotus. A white and pink lotus, when placed onto a dead body it bestows the effect of the gentle repose spell. Through the Lotus the Goddess Seros purifies the body and helps it’s spirit pass on from the mortal plane. If the Lotus is left on a dead body for 24 hours it becomes protected from rising as an undead, but it also cannot be brought back to life.
Memory Shard. A grey crystal when inert, but glows a shimmering rainbow colour when hosting a memory. In a 1 minute long ritual a willing creature can place a short memory into the crystal, which others can experience by placing the shard to their forehead. Once a shard has a memory it cannot be used to store any more.
Meditation Beads. A band of beads made out of a rare wood with a small hanging symbol of a god tied to one end. While you wear this holy symbol, you gain a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and the saving throw DCs of your cleric or paladin spells. While you wear the beads, you can use your Channel Divinity feature without expending one of the feature's uses. Once this property is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.
Food is an important element for the people of Anatos and they regularly hold great feasts after a good harvest. Each player can ‘equip’ a Food bonus and gain it’s benefit, Food with costs must be paid at the start of an Event to gain it's benefit.
The list of food changes based upon what players have recovered from their adventurers, and if a player owns a kitchen they can create their own dishes. Some dishes are only on offer for a limited time (One Chapter) denoted by this * symbol.
Canal Boat. Acts as a home and has 2 rooms which can be used for expansions.
Community Tenant. You live in a home alongside a number of other people. They might be strangers, friends or family members but the space does not belong to you and you cannot add expansions to it.
Room Lottery. Whenever a new tower is built a lottery takes place for about half of the available homes. While the chances of winning are low, obtaining a home for just the price of a ticket would be a major boon for anyone.
Hamlet Home. A normal home in one Anatos’s many towers. Contains 2 rooms.
Underwater Home. A spacious home under the sea. Contains 3 rooms.
Skyland Nest. A unique construct built atop a tower. Contains 4 rooms.
Penthouse. At the peak of many towers lie the enviable penthouses which are massive homes normally reserved for high ranking guilders. Contains 10 rooms.
Stall. A simple stall that can be setup on a street, bridge or market. Can sell almost any common goods, including food, but lacks the prestige to sell higher tier goods. At the start of any Event you may roll 4d8 and gain that amount of ‘Rations’ as profit from your stall, which can be used to barter with during the Event instead of Gold. Ration gains do not persist between events.
Restaurant. A building or open area that exclusively serves food and drink to patrons, counts as a Kitchen Expansion for ‘recipe’ creation. Pick what clients your restaurant caters to:
Store. A building you can use to sell any sort of good or service. When creating your store you may add one uncommon item of your choice to the Player Market, including items you have homebrewed (With permission), and you immediately gain the item for free. When you retire you may add one extra uncommon item to the Player Market for free.
If you own a Home then you are able to add Expansions to it, limited by the number of rooms in the home.
