The setting of Anatos only has a limited number of languages that are used, most taught to mortals by spirits or ancient creatures. Mechanically we only have a small number of languages so you're more likely to have a chance to actually use them during an event.
Common. Over time the various different languages of the city began to mix and match until an entirely new dialect was formed. Constructed from phrases and words from multiple languages 'common' can be understood by most people. Sometimes that understanding might be on vague terms, but even those not fluent in it can usually pick up the ‘gist’ of any conversation in it.
Aquan. The universal language of water dwellers, said to have been taught to them by ancient sea creatures.
Auran. The universal language of sky dwellers, taught to them by the spirits of the wind.
Ignan. The universal language of fire keepers, bestowed onto those who parlay with fire spirits.
Terran. A forgotten language, the spirits who could teach it are no more. Only exists as scraps of its former nature.
Giant. A langauge used by some of the oldest races of the world.
Draconic. An ancient language, taught to mortals by the Primal Dragons.
Primordial. An old langauge of the elements, is very similar to common in many ways but sounds much harsher and rough.
Sylvan. A primal language associated with fey and dreams. Sometimes individuals wake from forgotten dreams, suddenly completely fluent in Sylvan.
Infernal. A primal language associated with demons and arcana. It is said that many phrases in Infernal were originally derived from dark magic.
Deep Speech. A forbidden language, associated with the void and dark magic.
