ASSIGNMENT 3 POETRY QUEST INTRODUCTION

Building upon Assignment 2, you will be using the computer to expand your knowledge and appreciation of poetry. The terms will give you a greater understanding and knowledge of poetic terms and devices. There are many sites available to you with poetry themes. This quest will help you explore the sites, evaluate the sites, and find some new sites. Also, this quest will further your understanding of poetry and help you evaluate computer research for future projects.

THE TASK

You will explore poetry web sites. These sites are going to introduce you to poetry terms and some famous works.

THE PROCESS:

Step 1: Go to these sites to answer the questions on Worksheet 1. Worksheet 1 contains questions about poetry terms. You will find the definitions of 10 commonly used poetry terms.

Step 2: Print or edit Worksheet 2 so you can use it to evaluate the three links below.

Step 3: Use Worksheet 3 to evaluate a site that you think may be useful for future assignments.
