Assessment

Standard #6 Assessment – The teacher understands and uses multiple methods of assessment to engage learners in their own growth, to monitor learner progress, and to guide the teacher’s and learner’s decision making.

INTASC #6 Interpretation - By using different types of assessment you can accurately look at the students growth. As an educator if you only use one type of assessment you are only assessing one type of learner.  Monitoring learner progress can better help teachers and students assess the curriculum, teaching, and comprehension.  

Artifact - This is an Understanding by Design lesson plan over character analysis. This lesson includes assessment of students in formative and summative  assessments. I have also included a template for students to use when assessing live theatre.
