All prices listed in this guide are approximate market values based on recent auction results from Marudhar Arts, Classical Numismatic Gallery and Numista data. Actual prices vary significantly depending on grade, rarity, mint, provenance and current market conditions. AINCERT recommends using the PF-ARCHIER Scale to grade any proof coin before buying or selling. These prices are for reference only. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees.

EARLY PROOF SETS
1964 to 1980 AD

Proof Set 1969 Gandhi Centenary, complete with all denominations. PF-ARCHIER EF to AU condition: Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 12,000. PF-ARCHIER MS condition: Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 30,000.

E.X.P.T. One Rupee 2010, NGS MS-66, experimental issue. Market value: Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 15,000. NGS graded MS-66: Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 40,000.

Experimental issues, any denomination, any year, ungraded. Fine condition: Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 5,000. Very Fine to EF condition: Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 15,000.

100th Anniversary

PRICE PREMIUM FACTORS

A sealed proof coin in original packaging commands a premium of 50 to 100 percent above an opened example in the same grade. A PF-ARCHIER graded coin commands recognition of its documented condition. A coin from a limited mintage issue commands additional premium proportional to its scarcity. Proof sets with all original documentation, certificates and packaging intact command the highest prices.
