This is the first possessive pronoun that you have come across.

The pronoun fy (my) is followed by the Treiglad Trwynol/Nasal Mutation

Fy mhen i My head

Fy nhrwyn i    My nose

Fy nghar i        My car

Dyma fy mhwrs i Here is my purse

Dyma fy mrawd i Here is my brother

Pat yw enw fy nhad i          
Pat is my father’s name

Brown yw lliw fy ngwallt i
Brown is the colour of my hair

Ford yw mec fy nghar i  

Ford is the make of my car

Mae fy nhad-cu i yn byw yn Nhregaron                 

My grandfather lives in Tregaron

Mae fy neintydd i yn byw yn Ninas Powys

My dentist lives in Dinas Powys
