While travelling around the map and hunting critters for your survival, you may notice that some creatures may drop spheric objects, these are called Dragon Pearls!
Dragon Pearls can be collected and are useful in many ways, these can work as buffs or cosmetics. When it comes to buffs, there is 150+ different pearls in the world of Jrakhon and each may have its very own buff percentage, making it to over 20,000 variations possibles!
Each dragons can find its most adapted pearl and use it to its advantage.
Either by granting additionnal buffs or simply make a dragon look pretty or camouflaged, pearls can be a dragon most valuable treasures.
There's 3 differents pearls categories; Passive Buff, Skin Overlay and Cosmetic. Right now we will focus on the Buff.

Buff Pearls comes in a variety of Tiers and Qualities.
Tiers: There's 3 different tiers for buffs pearls.
Tier order: Lesser < Greater < Ancient
Each tiers have its own percentage cap:
Lesser: Range between 1% to 5%
Greater: Range between 5.1% to 10%
Ancient: May offer 2 buffs (10% + 5% as example), or one. Ranging from 10.1% to 15%
Quality: Quality is the pearl rarity. The higher the quality, the rarer and the better percentage the pearl will have.
Quality order: Common < Uncommon < Rare < Exotic < Legendary < Unique/Mythical

Some pearls however don't fit this category and offer different benefits, such as Skin overlays and Cosmetics pearls.
There's also "Exclusive" pearls, which are only available if a player own specifics DLCs or Keys on their account. (All cosmetics - These cannot be dropped and are tied to a player's account)

Once you have found a pearl, you can collect it and this one will appear in your dragon's inventory. (Press 'i' to open your character panel, inventory is the second tab on the left)
Depending of the tier, a pearl will display a different hue when dropped on the ground.
Also, each tiers have its own weight. Make sure you have enough room in your dragon's inventory to carry it otherwise you will not be able to pick it up. (except Skin Overlay/Cosmetic Pearls, these have a weight of 0 cw)
All dragons have its own crop weight (cw). Crop weight varies depending of a dragon class. The higher, the more you can carry.
Each pearls weight depending of tiers:
Lesser pearl: 1 cw
Greater pearl: 2 cw
Ancient pearl: 3 cw
Important note: Only Elder dragons may carry Ancient pearls.
Crop Weight (or Carry Weight) is located at the bottom of the inventory
Crop Weight (cw) depending of dragon class and age: (all hatchlings have 0 cw)
Biolumin: Juvenile = 2 cw | Adult = 4 cw
Acid Spitter: Juvenile = 3 cw | Adult = 6 cw | Elder = 9 cw
Shadow Scale: Juvenile = 4 cw | Adult = 8 cw | Elder = 12 cw
Blitz Striker: Juvenile = 4 cw | Adult = 8 cw | Elder = 12 cw
Flame Stalker: Juvenile = 5 cw | Adult = 10 cw | Elder = 15 cw
Inferno Ravager: Juvenile = 5 cw | Adult = 10 cw | Elder = 15 cw
Brood Watcher: Juvenile = 14 cw | Adult = 28 cw | Elder = 42 cw

A dragon can also drop a pearl on the ground for others to pick up. This way, players can gift, trade and create a certain economy within the game.
But do so at your own risks! Once dropped, a pearl is available for all to pick up and anyone may be lurking around.
Also, a pearl will despawn after 2 minutes if resting on the ground. It will breaks into pieces when disappearing.
Upon death, a dragon will drop all its collected pearls, turning itself into a dragon pinata.
Important note: Hatchlings and Juveniles dragons are unable to drop collected pearls.

Swamp Snapper
The most common Snapper you will encounter. These are located at specific places on the map, but are mostly found in the Swamp area.
Loot table:
Lesser Buff Pearl (up to Legendary quality) - 10% drop rate
Old Swamp Snapper
A bigger, stronger version of a Swamp Snapper. These always appear grey in color and produce deeper noises. This old version of the specie is rarer to encounter and spawn only at specific spots.
May drop 1 to 2 pearls at a time.
Loot table:
Lesser Buff Pearl (Up to Legendary quality) - 50% drop rate
Greater Buff Pearl (Up to Legendary quality) - 50% drop rate
Cosmetic Pearl (Sandslayer/Snowslayer skin) - 5% drop rate
Spined Scrab Matriarch
Bigger Spined Scrabs that display a greyish colored body. These may appear anywhere a normal Scrab spawn.
